Celebrating a Cultural Biodiversity (CB) day, on which the youth show their commitment and urge other community members for conservation of their culture and nature, has become an exciting event at all MELCA’s project areas.
“…this event is being conducted in a compound of a secondary school in a small town. Nonetheless, for me, it is more important than any other gathering held in halls with armchairs in big cities. That is so because it is about being committed for conservation of nature and protection of the environment, which is vital for both the current and future generation.”
MELCA Ethiopia has been named as the organisation with the most entrepreneurial approach to education in Ethiopia in the Educating Africa Pan-African Awards for Entrepreneurship in Education.
